ECO SEA3 is 100% Eco FRIENDLY. It does not breakdown or oblate in any way and so has ZERO effect on the environment.
It is a hard, hydrophobic, ceramic type coating, which rejects the attachment of marine organisms – growth.

Its intended use is to replace toxic ablative antifoul products, which continue to cause untold damage to our Ocean’s eco systems. Applied as an underwater coating, its best results are achieved when used in conjunction with efficient hull cleaning machinery or as part of a regular routine where the surface is wiped with a soft doodlebug or similar. ECO SEA3 will need to be wiped at fortnightly intervals for stationary vessels located in warm, +20o C waters, and at monthly intervals where the vessel is continuously moving or located in waters where the temps are under 15o C.

Where the above procedure is followed, a vessel with the surface coated with ECO SEA3 will remain free of attachments and provide the same fuel burn results as an uncoated Gelcoat or Alloy surface would return on its 1st day of operation. (Used in this way, it has a projected life cycle of >10 Years).

ECO SEA3 is also perfectly suited to coat the superstructure, internal structure, and bilges of marine craft constructed of Aluminium and or FRP.
ECO SEA3 used internally in the bilges of alloy vessels will provide a lifetime barrier against corrosion and oxidisation.

ECO SEA3 is not new – it has been around for years, has been stringently tested, and has proven to provide unique protection to exterior surfaces on civil structures both in Australia and overseas. Graffiti in the form of paint etc simply washes off with water and a soft cloth! ECO SEA3 cannot be over-coated with paint or vinyl products as they do NOT stick to an ECO SEA3 coated surface. It is so SAFE it has been approved for use in commercial kitchens.

Unlike existing coatings, it does not require a primer or undercoat. It can in fact be applied directly onto a clean solvent prepped surface of Marine Alloy or Gelcoat, therefore saving a significant amount of time, money and weight as well as transport, storage, freight and ultimately CO2 emissions.
